Out of This World Corn Dip is delicious and basically edible crack! It is my go-to dip for any crowd! It makes a ton, and everyone leaves wanting the recipe.
Out of This World Corn Dip is a quick, flavorful, easy dip you can whip up in minutes! I found this recipe years ago and it has continued to be a “go to” appetizer of mine. We all need that one appetizer dish that we have in our arsenal that we can whip out in a moment’s notice. A great thing about this recipe is most of the ingredients are things we have on hand. This dip can also be made ahead of time, (night before) which is so helpful. This recipe makes enough for a crowd. That way you have some left to enjoy after your guest go home and you really want to get down with some dip! The amount of spice to this corn dip is up to you! I have made this easy dip with and without the can of diced jalapenos. It would taste awesome heated up. Heated up and served with warm tortillas, would put a whole new spin on this dip! I have learned over the years to have copies of this recipe to give to my guests. They all want the recipe!

When I make Out of this World Corn dip, it’s important to have the right cocktails to wash it down with. The refreshing Bees Knee’s goes nicely with this appetizer. Make this dip with less calories!
If you are wanting to shed some of the calories off of this amazing dip, you could substitute the sour cream for Greek yogurt. Or even use half sour cream, half Greek yogurt. Dairy free cheese is another option. The best thing about making your own food is you can tweak recipes to fit your digestion needs or likes. I am guessing if you don’t tell anyone, no one will even notice!
Whether you make this recipe exactly as I have listed, or you substitute things certain things. Put it on a salty corn chip and serve with an ice-cold cocktail and it is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Out of This World Corn Dip
Ingredients
- 3 11oz cans of Mexicorn drained
- 1 7oz can chopped green chilies
- 1 6oz can chopped jalapeno peppers drained and liquid added to taste
- 1/2 cup green oinion chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 16oz package of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 to 2 bags corn chips
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients, except for the corn chips, in a large bowl. You want to use a good six=ze bowl, so you can really get in there and mix things up. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or over night.
